Children: Try to present at least three options.
One is no choice at all. Two creates a dilema. With
three you begin to have real choice and flexibility.
Assessment procedures provide tools for both teacher/parent
tracking of individual student progress and self-monitoring
by the student. Assessing or testing is to identify
the knowledge, skills and strategies students know and
are able to apply and the ones they confuse.
A real-world test of mastery is the ability to apply
the language of the discipline or subjest in real-life
problems.
